Kristen Michelle Roberts, 34, of Austin, Texas went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 19, 2010 after a long battle with a debilitating disease.

Kristen was born in Fontana, California on May 24, 1976. Her family moved to Texas when she was a young girl; she was raised in the Humble area and has lived in Austin for the last several years. She graduated from Humble High School in 1994, where she was a member of the marching band and the symphony orchestra.

Kristen continued her education at Southwest Texas State University, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with a focus on music and radio/TV broadcasting. Her love of those areas lead her to become a DJ for local Austin radio station Majic 95.5 where she garnered a strong following as Michelle Kyle.

Although Kristen enjoyed life to the fullest, her greatest joy was her marriage to Blake Roberts in January of this year. Although they shared this joy for only a brief time, they were both an inspiration to their family and friends as they shared their love of life and God.

Kristen leaves behind to cherish her memory; her loving husband, Blake Roberts; her mother and stepfather, Geneva and Tom Montgomery; her father and stepmother, Dennis and Laura Livesay; her sister, Kelly Moore and her husband James and their son James; her stepbrothers, Jason Montgomery, Jeff Montgomery and his wife Kristy and their family, Ryan Gollogly, Chad Gollogly and his wife Amy; her stepsisters, Stacy Maisano and her husband Mike, and Holly Baker; along with numerous other loving family members and a host of friends.

Blake and the family wish to acknowledge the commitment and care given by the doctors and staff at the Austin Seton Medical Center.
