Trudy Wells
Trudy Elaine Wells, 58, left her earthly bonds to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Trudy never met a stranger. She truly had a golden heart. Trudy had many talents and worked as a florist for several years before starting her own business designing and creating jewelry. She also had a passion for her art until her illness prevented her from continuing. Trudy was an inspiration to all who knew her. Although extremely ill for several years, her attitude toward life and living did not waiver. She always looked forward to tomorrow being a better day. She will be dearly missed. Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Beatrice Adler (Head), and brother, Duane Adler. She is survived by her husband, Loy, her son, Dr. Everett Wells and wife Prasanta, grandsons Kathan and Naveen, granddaughter Kiran, and her sister Carol Douglass and her husband Buddy. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces, brothers and sisters-in-law, and her very best friend, her little dog Gypzie. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the nursing staff of the ICU unit at Del Sol Hospital for their professionalism, understanding, and kindness during this difficult time. A special appreciation to Dr. M Tai Lam, Dr. Jeanette Tan, and Dr. Dean Smith, as well as the many Doctors, nurses, and homecare providers that cared for her over the years. A special thank you to Brigette, her caregiver and dear friend. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th from 5-7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home - East, 1460 George Dieter Dr. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st at 10 A.M., Pastor Tom Brown presiding.
