Christopher Wayne Vetzel, 39, of College Station, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Visitation was on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Burial was on April 22, 2009 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Albany, Georgia in the family plot. Wayne was born on May 3, 1969, at Tripler Army Hospital, Oahu, Hawaii. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for ten years and was working at Texas A&M as an instructor at the time of his death.
Wayne is survived by his children, Alex and Kaitlyn; parents Michael Vetzel and Mary Shular Hopper; grandparents, aunts and uncles and many cousins. His brother, Michael Austin Vetzel, died in Oregon in 1987.
