Clara Virgina Bell Hail, 88, of Moore, Idaho passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Life Care Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She was born March 31, 1924 in Antelope Valley, Idaho the daughter o Alexander Westley Bell and Maude Pauline Cleek.

She attended schools in Bell Academy in Antelope Valley and lived most of her life in the Lost River Valley.

On March 20, 1940, she married Virgil Hail.

Clara was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, gardening and fishing. She also enjoyed playing pinochle.

She is survived by daughters, Katrina Wood Bride of Arco, Terria Buckland of Idaho Falls; sons, Barry Hail (Sunshine Garner) of Moore and Allen Hail of Rigby; 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil, son, Robert "Bob" and granddaughter, Genalee Contretrus.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Moore LDS Stake Center with Bishop Darrell Wheeler conducting. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the stake center. Interment will be in the Hillcrest cemetery in Arco under the direction of Lost River Funeral Home.
