Pearl Anderson
Pearl Anderson, 97, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at a Hot Springs nursing home.

She was born Jan. 11, 1907, in Lexington, S.C., to the late Caroline Shirey Alewine and Isaac Alewine. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.

Pearl was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Anderson, and brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Anthony and Pearl Anderson of West Palm Beach, Fla., and daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Joel Daste of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Barcelona Road Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village, Ark., with Dr. Charles Long officiating.

Burial was by cremation.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Virginia Jordan, 105 Idlewood, Hot Springs, Ark., 71901 for the Patient Benevolent Fund, Beverly Health Care, Park Avenue.

Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.

Pearl Anderson

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. - Pearl Anderson, 97, Hot Springs Village, died Saturday (Oct. 16, 2004) at a nursing home in Hot Springs Village.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, with the Rev. Marvin Barnes officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were made by Hot Springs Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Mrs. Anderson was born Jan. 11, 1907, in Lexington, S.C., to the late Isaac and Caroline (Shirey) Alewine. She married Arthur Anderson, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Dr. Anthony (Pearl) Anderson, West Palm Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Jacqueline (Joel) Daste, Hot Springs Village; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Anderson was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and a Protestant.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, P.O. Box 2058, Michigan City, IN 46360.
