Cemetery transcript gives date of death as Oct 25, 1880, and age of 10. The 1870 and 1880 censuses give birth year of 1867. Obit shows date of death of 1889.

At 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning the funeral services of Miss Estora Stephens began at the family residence on Jackson street.
From the residence the remains were conducted to the church of the Immacculate Conception, where the services were conclued [sic] at 11:30.
Rev. Father Kelly conducted the services according to the Catholic ritual, in a most impressive manner. Miss Stephens was a young lady of deep convictions, and her piety was remarkable in the congregation where she worshipped, and the services were rendered more feeling from the fact that she had shown so many shining evidences of her faith and devotion during her young life.
The pallbearers were Mr. Walter Porter, Mr. J. Henry Lumpkin, Mr. james R. Holliday, Hon. James O'Neil, Mr. J. J. Gonzales and Mr. J. A. Adams.
The casket was covered with beautiful flowers, and there was a large audience of sympathizing friends assmebled to witness the last sad rites. Miss Stephens was greatly beloved by the communicants of the church, and her sad death has cast a gloom over the large circle of her friends.
The remains were interred in Oakland cemetery, and the mound of clay that covers her grave wil be beautified by many a tender tribute as the years go by.
