Gerhard Emch, a well
known farmer residing near Woodville is dead from injuries sustained while
hitching up a colt several days since. Mr. Emch was holding the colt by the
head and when he let go the colt made a rush, knocking Emch down and injuring
him to such an extent that he lived but a few hours.
The funeral services
were held Wednesday forenoon.
