Albert, the two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Fritz, residing on the East Fourth Street, died at his home in this city very unexpectedly Sunday evening about 7 o'clock. He was taken suddenly ill last Saturday with diphtheria nd a physician was immediately called, but the case had already developed to such an extent the anti-toxin had no effect. The attending physician proclaimed it an extremely rare case and the family has the sympathy of their many friends of Villisca.
Albert Fritz was born in Red Oak, November 25, 192 and was two years, three months, and twelve days of age at the time of death. Besides the parents he is survived by a sister, 6 weeks of age. Short funeral services were held at the home Monday morning at eleven o'clock, Rev. E. S. Menoher offering prayer both at home and the grave. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. Those from a distance who attended the services are Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bineu and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Shank, all of Red Oak.
