Lena Bell Bettis Turner, 94, of Little Rock, on Friday exchanged her life on earth for the eternal one that awaited her in the gloriousness of Heaven.

Lena was born in Manning, Arkansas on November 15, 1918 to Charlie & Erma Bettis and passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013.

She had 3 sisters and 1 brother. She moved to Little Rock to attend Draughon School of Business and met her future husband, James Turner. Lena was a gracious servant, loving wife, proud and caring mother to more than just her family.

After retirement she and Jim founded The Jim Turner Company which gave them the opportunity to travel to places all over the world. Believing fully in God's word, they were avid members of Western Hills United Methodist Church, where they served their church and community with loving hearts.

Lena is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and loving husband.

Survived by her death are two daughters, Joann Lewis (Johnny) and Nancy Morris; five grandchildren, Cindy Outlaw (Billy), Tracy Bright, Jodi Loftis, Jennifer Snyder (Cary), Jay Lewis (Patsy); seven great-grandchildren, Amber Upton (Todd), Allyson Henson (Brad), Christian Outlaw (Marlena), Lindsey Ross (Matt), K.W. Roy, Bailey Milligan, Shelby Loftis, and Hayden Roy; ten great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Briarwood Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice.

Funeral will be 10:00am, Monday, at Western Hills United Methodist Church.

Burial at Forest Hills Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth
