Gerald Robert Tolle
Went to be with the Lord December 4th. Born May 20th 1926 in Versailles, IL. Gerald was raised in Oklahoma, the youngest of five siblings. Work as a welder in the WWII Berkley shipyards brought him to California in his late teens. He retired as a welder at the Edwards AFB Rocket Propulsion Lab after 36 years of Civil Service. Twelve years of part time employment with the Boron Community Services District served to help keep him busy after retiring from Edwards. While a talented welder, he was also considered a gifted guitar player by many. Gerald is survived by his wife of 56 years Jane Frances Tolle, sons Randall Robert (Colleen) and Timothy, daughter Tamara Gunter (Brian), grandchildren Harmony Larsen (Thor), Melanie Jorgensen (Jeff), Kyle Robert Gunter, Krista Gunter and great grandson Jason Robert Jorgensen. Graveside services were held at Mojave Cemetery on Wednesday, December 8, 2004.
