Carolyn L. Blouin, 78, of Hartford, widow of Philip E. Blouin, died peacefully Wednesday (May 8, 2002).

Born in Willimansett, MA, May 17, 1923, daughter of the late Alfred and Lena (Barnish) LaCasse, she resided in Hartford for many years. Before retiring, Carolyn was employed with the U.S. Postal Service at the Hartford office for over 25 years. She was a longtime communicant at The Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Nancy A. Blouin of Wethersfield; her sister, Jeannette Danish of Willimansett, MA; and her brother, Leon LaCosse of Fairview, MA.

Friends may call at the Ahern Funeral Home, 180 Farmington Ave., Hartford, Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Funeral Procession from The Ahern Funeral Home, will be Monday, 9 a.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy in The Cathedral of St. Joseph at 9:30 a.m.
