FLOYDADA — Services for Evelyn Sparks, 83, of Floydada will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Floydada with the Rev. Wendell Horn officiating.
Burial will be in Floyd County Memorial Park under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada.
She died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002.
She was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Floyd County and graduated from Floydada High School. She married S.E. "Bud" Sparks on March 4, 1939, in Matador. He died June 2, 1984. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Floyd County.
She had been a member of the 1934 Study Club, The 84 Club and had been involved with Spirit of Sharing. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of United Methodist Women.
Survivors include two daughters, Joy Fulton of Ransom Canyon and Gloria Ogle of Bowie; four brothers, Earl and C.M. Beck, both of Dumas, Oran Beck of Waco, and Dean Beck of DeSoto; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
