Rachel June Howell, 72 died peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, February 16, 2005. She was born October 11, 1932, in Henry, to the late Bruce Slayton McFadden and Mildred Haynes McFadden Hundley. She was the widow of Arden Keith Howell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons; Lawton of Las Vegas, NV, Van (Claudia) of Boise, ID, one daughter; Sheila Schukert (Terry) of McKenzie, TN, three brothers; Gordon Ray McFadden of Henry, TN, Billy McFadden of Huntsville, AL and Tommy McFadden of Henry, TN, and four sisters; Madeline Barker, Jane Spann, Judy Finley all of McKenzie, TN and Shirley Faye Pierce of Hammond, IN, seven grandchildren; Lawton Howell, Jr., Bryan Howell (Lorraine), Rachel (Chad) Preece, Melanie Howell, Amanda Padilla, Terriann Schukert, and Jade Habig, two step-grandchildren; Mark & Craig Thompson, and two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Brooke Howell. Services were at 2:00pm, February 19, at Brummitt Funeral Home. Burial was in Henry Cemetery, Henry, TN.
