OLD RESIDENT DEAD Mrs. Bengta Olson wife of Nels Olson, died after a long illness last Saturday night October 24 shortly after eight o'clock at the home of her youngest daughter Mrs. Tryzell on Muskegon Ofe. Mrs. Olson was born in province Skane, Sweden on the 18th of February 1833. She was married to Mr. Olson in November 1854 and came to this country in August, 1870. The deceased leaves, besides her husband, five children, Mrs. Elna Paulson, Mrs. John E. Peterson, Ole Olson, Eric Olson and Mrs. Otto H. Tryzell, seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren besides many friends who mourn her departure. She always lived a good Christian life and was one of the oldest members of the Swedish Lutheran church. The funeral services were held from the Swedish Lutheran church in Whitehall. Rev. Olander from Muskegon officiated. The interment took place at Oakhurst cemetery.
