Joyce I. Males
Joyce I. Males, a resident of California City, CA for the past ten years, passed away on February 14, 2002 at home from cancer. She was born on August 5, 1930 in Santa Barbara and had also resided in Torrance at one time. Joyce was a credit supervisor for JC Penney's for 20 years.
Joyce is survived by her husband Thad, son Glen Males, both of California City, daughter Laurie Champion of Torrance, son-in-law Vincent Champion, daughter-in-law Libby Males, grandchildren, Brian, Katie, Autumn and Shawn, granddaughter-in-law Angie Males, grandson-in-law, Ruben Lugo, and five great-grandchildren; Christopher, Austin, Reece, Mariah and soon-to-be-born Jasmine.
Services were conducted by Michael Loehrer at Stickel Mortuary in Mojave on February 19,2002.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Pro Care Hospice in Lancaster, CA.
