Elizabeth was the daughter of August (or Augustus) Leiser and Rosian Dannenhauer. August was born in 1831, Hesse Darmstadt; Rosian was born in 1840 in Württemberg. Elizabeth's siblings were: Mary, George, John, William, and Charles Leiser. Some of this family lived in Middletown & Dayton, Ohio area.
Elizabeth's first husband was Joseph Muth, whom she had all of her children with. They were: Josephine Mary Muth-Oehler, Joseph A. Muth, and Anna Muth-Rueger. There were at least two more children who did not live to adult: August C. and Edward.
Elizabeth's second husband was Charles Kaiser, widower of Mary Ries.
There is much misinformation on documents regarding who Elizabeth's parents were, and her maiden name... Hunger, Hungler, Oehler, and Leiser. I have come to the conclusion that her maiden name was Leiser, as her mother was living at the same address, when her mother died. -Also, I have pictures of Leiser family members from the early 1900s.
