Mrs. Caroline Geschwend, aged 27 years, 4 months, and 27 days, wife of Leo Geschwend, died at the family home 427 North Aurora Street, at 5 a.m., Monday, as the result of blood poisoning.

The deceased leaves in addition to the husband, a daughter, Beatrice, five years old and an infant son, Roscoe, only four days of age. Also a mother, four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Geschwend was born at Greenville, Ill, July 10 1887, and came to Collinsville seven years ago. She was a sister of Mrs. Dave Titus, of this city. She has made a host of friends while a resident of collinsville, who mourn with the relatives in the loss of an affectionate friend and, the household misses and grieves for a kind mother and loving wife.

The funeral took place Wednesday at 2 p.m. in from the family home at 427 North Aurora Street, conducted by Rev. J. F. Storey, and the burial was at Glenwood Cemetery. The fullest sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved relatives in the loss which they are called on to bear.
