Diane Gail Kelly Goldberg, of Charlotte, NC, died on January 14, 2005. She graduated from Coker College and also received an MSSW from the University of Tennessee. After working at several agencies as a clinical social worker, she became a writer. She published two novels, 'Skating on the Edge' and 'Doomed to Repeat It.' She also published hundreds of short stories and non-fiction articles. Her topics were varied and her writing appeared in publications as divergent as 'Chicken Soup for the Romantic Soul,' 'More Monsters from Memphis,' and 'Trackside.' She also traveled widely and wrote for many travel websites and publications. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Goldberg and O.P. Goldberg. Survivors include son, Jacob David Goldberg, husband, Ronald Shull, and sister, Donna Jones. Services will be held at Temple Israel at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2005. Interment will follow at Hebrew Cemetery. Harry and Bryant Company is serving the family of Diane Goldberg.
