Sallie Rivers married first Albert C. Menefee on 17 JUL 1855, and second George Presley Keyes on 13 APR 1879, in Louisville KY. She died in AUG 1883, in Greenville AL (Butler County), according to "Death Notices from the Christian Advocate, Nashville, Tennessee, 1883-1884, #2", by Jonathan Kennon Thompson Smith, 2004, pp. 31 & 35. Where she was buried is unknown. She did not have any children.

According to Thomas McAdory Owen's "History of Alabama and Dictionary of Alabama Biography", Vol. 3, 1921, p. 973, George P. Keyes married three times. Sallie was his second wife. Jennie S Rainey was his third wife. He was buried near Athens AL (Limestone County), though he lived in Sheffield AL (Colbert County). However, his memorial at FAG (#65743275) indicates that he was buried with his first wife Frances, at Oakwood Cemetery, Montgomery AL (Montgomery County).
