Florence Fislar, 82, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Jan. 30, 2013, at Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. The family received friends Sunday in the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home. The funeral service was conducted Monday at 10 a.m. with Bro. Scott Kennedy officiating. Final resting place is in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Fislar was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Crossville, the daughter of the late Ernest and Violet Rhea Dixon. She was the wife of the late George W. Fislar.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Bielec.
Serving as pallbearers were Gregory Harris, Matthew Schiffler, Ken Basinski, Jonathan Schiffler, Andrew Smith, Douglas Smith, Klinton McKenzie, Peter Schiffler, Kaitlin Smith, Julie Harris and Phillip Hurst.
