Dick Thomas was the son of Solomon and Dora Maud Moore Thomas.He was a journalist with the Gallipolis Daily Tribune, Athens Messenger and News Director for WYPCFM radio station. He worked as a shipfitter during WWII . He was married to Dorothea Mae Miller. They were the parents of Cheryl Ann, John Richard JR., William Dean, James Dale and Nathan Bedford . He coached Little League Baseball, was a fireman, and a Kentucky Colonel. He loved sports, bigband music and history. He was loved and will be forever in our hearts
