WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Josie Quick Simpson, 94, of Pinecone Road, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, at Burke County Hospital.

Mrs. Simpson, a lifelong resident of Burke County, was a homemaker and former owner and operator of a veterans home. She was a member of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, H. Harry Quick and Robert Lee Quick and George W. Quick, all of Waynesboro; a daughter, Mary V. Myers, East Peoria, Ill.; and 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
