Stanley F. Grabowski, 89, widower of Helen (Olander) Grabowski, died on Tuesday (February 8, 2005). Mr. Grabowski was born in Plainville on February 7, 1916 and was a son of the late Frank and Victoria W. Grabowski He was a resident of Connecticut all his life and owned and operated Stanley Plating Co., which he founded in 1945, until retiring in 1980. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans. He was past president of the American Electroplater's Association, and a member of the Bristol Elk's Lodge #1010, and St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol.
