She was the daughter of the late Thomas Carroll Peach and Marcelle Peach Neal, and stepdaughter of Charles Neal. Survivors include her husband, Joseph "Jack" Couty Jr.; son, Thomas D. Vicknair; daughter, Pamela Vicknair Lawrence; sister, Carol A. Peach Thurmond; granddaughter, Hallie Faith Vicknair; sister-in-law, Cindy Webre; niece, Taylor Thurmond; nephew, Athyn Thurmond; stepson, Ian Couty, his wife, Brittany Couty, and their two children, Landon and Stephen Couty; and Nichole, Hannah and Tyler Chauvin.

Visitation at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 2208 Jefferson Highway, Lutcher, Friday, March 26, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Vincent Dufrense, celebrant. .
