Anna was the daughter of John & Julia (Pearson) Patrick.
She was married to Oscar Tucker Hanley in 1896. They had two children: Julia & Claude.
On June 19, 1900, Oscar T., age 35, & Anna E., 36, lived in Jackson, Monroe Co, MO where they were renting a farm. They had been married 4 years; Anna was the mother of 2 children, both of whom were living. They were: Julia M., 3, & Oscar C., 5 months. Oscar's niece, Della M. McGinnis, age 23, lived with them. Two farm hands who helped Oscar with the farm work were: Emit B. Allen, age 28, & Obadiah Farrell, 17.
On April 16, 1910, Oscar, age 45, & Anna, 46, lived in Wilson, Audrain Co, MO where they were buying a farm. Their children were Julia, age 13, & Claude, 10, & Oscar's niece, Beulah Patrick, age 12. Oscar & Anna had been married 14 years, & she had given birth to 2 children.
On January 26/27, Jan. 1920, they were still living in Wilson. Oscar T., was age 55; Annie E.,55; Julia M., 23; & Oscar, 20. Annie was helping on the farm with poultry; Julia was teaching; & Claude helped his father with the farming.
Oscar died on December 14, 1922.
Anna was living in Mexico, MO when she died from Carcinoma of the Stomach at 3:05 p.m. on July 27, 1930. She had lived 66 years, 3 months, & 17 days. Her daughter, Mrs. Julia Pearson of Mexico, MO, was the informant on her death certificate. She was buried July 29.

Mrs. Oscar Hanley, near Centralia, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Glenn Pears in Mexico at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, July 28, after several months illness, at the age of 66 years.
Mrs. Hanley, before her marriage, was Miss Anna Patrick. She was born near Sturgeon and was married to the late Oscar Hanley on Dec. 25, 1884, and had lived her entire life in the Sturgeon and Centralia vicinity.
Besides the above mentioned daughter, she is survived by one son, Jack Hanley of the home and one grandchild, Donald Pearson, of Mexico. Three sisters and two brothers also survive. They are Mrs. Julia Crosswhite of Sturgeon; Mrs. Charlie Brooks of Centralia, and Mrs. Laura Bemer of Huntsville; Green Patrick of Callao, Mo., and Flood Patrick of Centralia.
Funeral services will be conducted at Pleasant Grove Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock by the Rev. Egan Herndon, and interment will be in the cemetery at that place."
