Birth: Nov. 15, 1816
Death: 1872
Freestone County
Texas, USA

Daughter of Elder Daniel Parker, founder of the Pilgrims Primitive Baptist Church, Elkhart, Texas.

Her burial was reported to Mt. Zion Cemetery researcher, Margaret Tolar, by Lovic Emmons, an old time Turlington resident. He went through the cemetery and showed her were many of the unmarked graves were located and Phebe Parker was one of them. The Antioch Cemetery where her husband, Samuel Wells, is buried was not in use until 1877 and he was buried with his 2nd wife and their daughter's family, Ann Lee Wells Richardson.
Phebe and Samuel Wells also have a daughter buried at Mt. Zion which would make sense that the daughter would have been buried with her mother.
It is also possible that several of their other children are also buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Turlington, Texas.

The known children of Phebe and Samuel Wells are:
1) Sarah Catherine Wells (1836-1870)
who married Duncan Perry Graham
possible burial Mt. Zion Cemetery
2) Daniel P. Wells (1837-1863)

3) Newton D. Wells(1839- ? before 1860)
4) Martha "Mathy" E. Wells (1841-1879)

5) Louisiana V. Wells (1844-1884)
