Mrs. Jones was born to the late Alexander W. and Pearl (Covington) Wallace.
A former resident of Monroe and Shreveport, Mrs. Jones had resided in Lufkin for the past 12 years. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Pearl and Bob Hinkie of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Harold O. and Margaret Coates of Shreveport; grandchildren, Stacy Buschman of Lufkin, Wendy Whitworth of Chester and Cathy Campbell of Shreveport; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jack S. Wallace of Lufkin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley O. Jones.
