DAVENPORT - Susan K. Dougherty, of Davenport, died Saturday, December 31, 2005, in Davenport. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no visitation or services. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Susan was born August 9, 1946, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert and Inez (Herring) Plambeck. She was united in marriage to Dale Dougherty on October 5, 2005, in Davenport. Susan worked from 1989 to 1999 for Schick Movers and more recently worked for Payphones Unlimited. She was a devoted employee doing more than her job required. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Dale, mother, Inez Plambeck, aunt, Roma Hall, uncle, Clark McCoy, all of Davenport; and a sister-in-law, Joanne and husband, Bill Reynolds, Ft Myers, Fla. She was preceded in death by her father.
