Deceased Name: DONNA MAE JACOBSEN. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Chapel of Moreland Presbyterian Church for Donna Mae Jacobsen, who died Jan. 14, 1997, of Alzheimer's disease. She was 83.
Mrs. Jacobsen was born April 5, 1913, in Lethbridge, Canada. Her maiden name was Bartell. She moved to Cottage Grove in 1915 and later studied piano at the University of Oregon.
She married Robert J. Williams in 1936; they later divorced. In 1965 she married Howard Jacobsen who died in 1974. She had lived in Portland since 1963.
Survivors include daughters, Judy Hornbacher of Edina, Minn., Cindy Kjeldsen of Portland; and four granddaughters.
Interment will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens. The family suggests remembrances to Mt. St. Joseph Residence in Portland.
