Cantil Resident Passes, Services are Thursday

Henry Eugene Owen, 58-year-old Cantil resident, was taken in death September 28 in Tehachapi Valley Hospital.
Born Sept. 3, 1910 in Oklahoma, he had lived 31 years in Calif. and 29 years in Kern County residing on Pappas Road in Cantil. He was employed by John K. Schad Construction Co. of Calif City and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife Regina, one son Harry Owen Jr., two brothers, Leonard of Perris, Calif and Clifford of Mexico, a sister Evelyn Greer and mother Mamie both of Perris.
Stickel Mortuary announced chapel services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct 3rd. The Rev. E. H. Engels of Hope Lutheran Church will officiate.
Interment will be in Mojave Cemetery with Stickel Mortuary in charge.
