Services for Cal City victim

Funeral services were held at Stickel Chapel in Mojave for Sidney G. Burns of California City May 16th, with Rev. Norval Pickett, minister of the Baptist Church in Boron, officiating. Burial followed at Mojave Cemetery with StickeI Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Burns was killed in an automobile accident in Bakersfield May 12th. He was born in Oklahoma Sept. 19, 1937, and served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1957.
He was manager of the Richfield Service Station in California City at the time of his death and is survived by his wife Patricia; a brother Albert J. Burns; a sister Barbara K. Burns of Boron; and two half-brothers, Ralph and Donald Harris of Boron.
