Daughter of John and Daisy Caudle, sister of Johnnie, Charlie, Georgia, Ruby, Jessie and Mary. Mae was the youngest of the "Caudle Family Entertainers". When she finished school in Saltillo she moved to North Dakota to live with her sister Mary Pheister until Mary's death. She worked with carnivals and Exposition Shows until carnivals faded into history and never married but loved children. She loved to laugh and be with her family. She spent the last few years of her life with her sister Jessie Caudle Agee.
