Funeral services for Mrs. Billie Keister, 63, will he held in the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel on Saturday, September 23, 1972.
Mrs. Keister was born in Winter, Texas, on Feb. 12, 1909, and passed away in Bakersfield hospital on Sept. 19, 1972. She first came to Ca1ifornia in 1946, and had lived in Kern County since 1955. She and her husband, Tex, managed the Kern County dump in Mojave for several yeas.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan W. (Tex), at the home, 5314 Myer Rd. in Mojave.
Hours of visitation in the Chapel will be from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22. The 10:00 a.m. funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. J. L. Trimmer, Central Church of Christ Bakersfield. Interment will be in the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries are in charge of arrangements.
