Albert Grant Holman died peacefully 13 May 2006. Born Logan Utah August 12, 1920: oldest of three children of Albert Victor and Geneva Smith Holman.

Graduate: Logan High School, Utah State University (affiliated with Pi Kappa Alpha), University of San Francisco Law School. Commissioned Army Artillery Officer, advancing to Major. Like so many of the "greatest generation" served during World War II, South Seas and Japan.

Married Helen Miles, from Smithfield, Utah on May 20, 1942, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Helen unexpectedly died in 1985 after 42 years of marriage.

Grant joined the Federal Reserve Bank, San Francisco, later transferring to Salt Lake, where he would work until retirement in 1985 as Sr. VP. On retirement he taught at Westminster College.

Grant married Beverly Flint Fillmore in 1986 and served faithfully in the England Coventry Mission. Grant is survived by his two sons, Miles (Mary Lou), Salt Lake City and Kevin (Chris), Mt. Pleasant; and nine grandchildren, Jennie (Richard) Blake, Katie (Curtis) Krieger, Meg (JR) Meadows, David, Marianne (Ohio Cleveland Mission), Ryan (US Air Force), Julie, Charlotte and Wes Holman and six great grandchildren. Also survived by brother Dean (Lee), Orem, and sister, Lois Critchfield, Mountain View, CA.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr. where friends may call Wed., 7:00-8:30 p.m. and Thursday 11:00-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
