Graveside services for Karl Kruger, a 26-year resident of Mojave, were held at the Mojave Cemetery on Oct. 8, 1973.
Mr. Kruger, born in American Falls, Idaho, on Aug. 9, 1918, passed away at his home at 16023 I St., Oct. 5. He had lived in California since 1940, and in Mojave since 1947, when he went to work as a station agent serving both the Southern Pacific
and Santa Fe railroads. He had; served in the Army during; WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, at the home; two sons, David, Lone Pine, and Josef, L. A.; a daughter, Kathleen Bates, Fallbrook; five brothers, Art, Al and Herbert, all of Minnesota, Fred, Lompoc, and Ben of So. Dakota; two sisters, Caroline Gribble, Denver, and Lily Bremseth, Minnesota; and two grandchildren, Shelby and Denver Bates of Fallbrook.
The 3 p.m. services were conducted by the Rev. James W. Chitty, former pastor of the Mojave Community Church, now of Inglewood. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
