Mary was the second wife of James Neville, and came to Missouri with him in 1855. They first settled in Palistine, Cooper County. Mary Elizabeth Chapman, married James Neville on Mar 23, 1852. From Barren Co., Ky. Marriage Records: Nevill, Jame - Chapman, Mary E. 3/23/1852
They eventually settled near Kingsville, but then James was killed in 1863, and she died in 1865. Two of their children (Mary Frances and John Thomas) lived in 1870 with their uncle George Washington Neville, a doctor and a Baptist Minister.
