She departed this life on January 20, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mr. Charlie Lee Brantley; one son, Mr. Anthony M. Carter; five brothers, Mr. Jessie Wiggins, Sr., Mr. Albert Wiggins, Sr., Mr. Willie Hubert Carter, Mr. William Larry Carter and Mr. O'neal Carter; two sisters, Ms. Evanett Carter and Ms. Thelma Murphy.
She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Moss Point, MS until her death. She served various committees within the church including Entertainment and Courtesy Committee, Usher Board, Stewardship Committee, Communion Steward and other positions needed within the church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Mr. Michael Carter of Pascagoula; four daughters, Ms. Jacqualine Savage, Ms. Wanda Carter, Ms. LaTonya Carter all of Pascagoula, MS and Mrs. Donna Bates of Hattiesburg, MS; three sisters, Mr. Rosie Lee Biggs, Ms. Annie Booker both of Pascagoula and Mrs. Angela (Alonzo) Smith of Moss Point; seven grandchildren, Ms. Ebony Carter, Ms. LaOceanalla Savage, Ms. Tiva Savage, Ms. Jemmilla Savage all of Pascagoula, Mr. William Corbitt of Jenks, Oklahoma, Ms. Kailie Bates, Mr. Kaiden Bates both of Hattiesburg, MS; one great grandchild, Zaylen Mitchell; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Flora Wiggins of Moss Point, MS; three devoted nieces, Ms. Kutina Carter of Moss Point, Ms. Shandra Carter of Hattiesburg, and Ms. Tamyra Carter of Atlanta; two devoted friends, Mrs. Marilyn Ousley of Pascagoula and Ms. Eric Hawkins of Moss Point; numerous devoted godchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held 3:00pm Saturday, Janaury 26, 2013 at Meridian Street Baptist Church, Moss Point, MS. Viewing will begin one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in First Baptist Cemetery, Escatawpa,MS.
