Double Funeral Services Today
Monahans
A double funeral will be held
here at 2 p.m. today at the First
Methodist Church with Rev. Lloyd
Peters officiating, assisted by
Ernest West of the Church of Christ, for a Monahans couple killed in a car wreck last Wed. evening.
The Barnes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The accident victims are Mr. & Mrs. Sam F. Archibald of 802 South Betty. They were killed in a head on collision of their car with another vehicle about eight miles north of Monahans.
Sam F. Archibald,42, is survived by five brothers: Dave and Albert of Groesbeck, Robert of Buffalo, William of Marks, and Tom of San Antonio; and one sister, Mrs.
Willie Mae Wigley of Pasadena, Texas.
His wife Ethel Ester Archibald, 52 is survived by two sons, Jack Freeman of Pecos, and Elmer James Freeman of Ardmore,
Olka; three brothers, Bill Hunter of Borger, Keith Hunter of Meeker, Okla; and Don Hunter
of Covington, Okla; and one sister, Mrs.Harold Langley of Oxfod,Kansas
