Youth Dies From Cycle Accident

Mr. Jose (Tony) Holguin, 19, of Cameron, employed by the So. Pacific, Co., was killed last Thursday night at 10:25 o'clock while riding his motorcycle. Death resulted from a collision with a car driven by Ben Bird, 19, of Bakersfield
He attended Mojave Elementary School in 1944 and later graduated from Tehachapi school, American Legion honors.
He is survived by his father, Manuel Holguin, a brother, Gus, three sisters Julia Lopez, Mary Galan, and Lara Holguin.
Funeral services were held, Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Rosary at Cameron the night before. Interment was in Mojave Cemetery on Tuesday with Doughty, Calhoun, O'Meara; in charge.
