JOHN HODGES PASSES AWAY
Having lived a blameless life for many years, John Morgan Hodges, 83, former railroader and a member of the Masonic Fraternity for 60 years, died in Mojave on Monday at 504 K Street, home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Hodges, with whom he had lived for many years.
He was born September 27, 1862 at Statesboro, Fla., and is survived by his son, George, four grand-children and six great grandchildren. The grandchildren are Mrs. K. L. White of San Diego; Mrs. Harry Beall of Trona, Calif.; and Mrs. W. F. Wegman of Auburn, Calif., children of Mr. and Mrs. George Hodges, and a grandson. A. D. WiIIiams, of Crystal River, Fla.
Funeral services wiII be held today at 2 p. m. and burial will be in the Mojave Cemetery. O'Donnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
