Mojave resident Taken in death

Funeral services will be held at the Mojave Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Friday afternoon, Nov. 13th at 1:00 p.m. for Mr. Michael James Hathaway, 78 who passed away Nov. 10th.
Mr. Hathaway, who had lived in Mojave for 18 years, was born on Sept. 11, 1886 in North Ogden, Utah and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by two brothers, Haden of Idaho and Richard of Utah; and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Garner of Los Alamitos.
Funeral services will be under the direction of President Victor Smyth, of the Mojave LDS Church, and burial will follow at the Mojave District Cemetery with Stickel Mortuary in charge.
