Funeral services for Frank J. "Pancho" Martin, 82, were held in Mojave on March 13, 1974, at the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel.
Mr. Martin was born in Marlin, Texas, on Oct. 23, 1891, and passed away in a Bakersfield hospital on March 8. He made his home at 2022 Elm St., Rosamond, until entering a convalescent hospital in Bakersfield last November. He lived in the Rosamond area for about 15 years, and was a well-known card dealer in the area.
Mr. Martin is survived by a son, Frankie E. Martin, and a brother, Henry J. Martin, both of Houston, Texas.
The Rev. Lewis L. Wakeland, Community Congregational Church, Tehachapi, officiated at the 2 p.m. services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
