Fireman Killed in Automobile Collision
Services for William H. Matchette, 52-A Forrestal, who died following an automobile collision two and one half miles east of Ridgecrest on Trona Road Saturday, were held at 11 am yesterday in Mojave.
Mr. Matchette came to the naval station December 1946. He leaves his wife and two small sons.
He was employed with the Station fire department.
Wallace Hetherington of 51-B Rowe Street, driver of the other car, was hospitalized from injuries.
