She was born April 18, 1928 at Sugar City, Idaho the daughter of Ben and Blanche Smith. She was raised and attended her schooling in the Sugar City area.
She married Melvin Sealy in l946. He was killed a few months later. She then married Rue Dunn on March 10, 1947 at Rexburg, ID. To this union she was blessed with Seven Children. Jackie (Dick) Street, Pat Blake, "Frank Smith", Dewayne (Carla) Dunn, Wendell (Lois) Dunn, Donovan (Laree) Dunn, Bonnie (Rod) Olson, Tobe (Lynette) Dunn.
Mr. Dunn passed away in Jan. of l967. She married George Farley in Sept. of 1967 at Salmon, ID. He passed away in Nov. 2000.
Catherine loved to play pool, bowl, fish, camp, crafting and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the best story teller there ever was or ever will be. No other could sing a song or tell a joke like she could.
She is survived by her seven children, and three sisters. 22 Grandchildren, 55 Great Grandchildren. Besides her parents, and husbands she was preceded in death by a grandson and eight siblings.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, April 24, 2010 in the Gibbonsville Cemetery at 1:00 P.M.
