Funeral services for Ola A. Meek, 65, were held at the Boron Assembly of God Church, on Nov. 5.
Mrs. Meek was born April 2, 1910, in Hinton, Oklahoma, and passed away at a Ridgecrest hospital on Nov. 2. She made her home at 27364 Nudgent St., Boron. She had been a custodian at Gephart Jr. Hi School for 11 years before her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley, at the home; a son, Walter, Boron; two daughters, Evelyn McIntyre, No. Edwards, and Geneva Johnstone,Boron; two brothers, Olduff Findley, Oklahoma City, and Ralph Findley, Hinton, Okla.; two sisters, Hazel Smith, Boron, and Josephine Howard, Hinton, Okla.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
The Rev. Darrell Dawson, Weedpatch, officiated at the 2:30 p.m. services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
