Mrs. Lena A. Gaudet
Mrs. Lena A. (Bourgeois) Gaudet, 79, 38 North Franklin St., died Wednesday at a local nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Ovide Gaudet.
She was born in College Bridge, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donat Bourgeois.
Mrs Gaudet had lived in Lynn for more than 50 years.
She was a member of the Dames de St. Anne, a life member of the Franco American Auxiliary Unit 12, and a member of the Assumption Society.
She also leaves two sons, Arthur F. Gaudet and Louis Gaudet, both of Lynn; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the St Laurent Funeral Home, 554 Western Ave., followed by a funeral Mass at 9 at the St. Jean Baptiste Church.
