In regard to the attached obituary, the place of death, her parent's home in "Oakwood", refers to a neighborhood about 3 miles southeast of Hannibal, MO. Most modern maps do not show an "Oakwood", but if you search on Oakwood Elementary School, you will find it. This is the same location her parents were enumerated in 1930 and 1940, an area split across Ralls to the south and Marion to the north. Her death certificate gives the place of death as:

City or town: Rural
County: Ralls
