Staff Sgt. Theodore A Rusnak, 34, of 69 North 11th Street, killed in an Army bomber crash near Tucson, Ariz., Thursday, was born in Kende, Hungary.
Sgt. Rusnak was brought to this country by his mother, Mrs. Marie Rusnak, after his father was killed in action while serving with the Hungarian Army in World War I.
Sgt. Rusnak attended the Newark College of Engineering. He operated a vegetable farm at Lake Placid, Fla. for eight years. He enlisted in May, 1942, with the Air Corps and was graduated from the Radio and Gunnery School at Salt Lake City several months ago. Sgt. Rusnak was expected home on his first furlough in April.
Sgt. Rusnak leaves his mother and two sisters, Marie and Yolanda.
