Funeral services for Jannett M. Fousek, 73, were held last Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the O'Donnell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. William Henry of the 7th Day Adventist Church conducted the services. Interment was in the Mojave District Cemetery: Mrs . Fousek died Feb. 7 at her home Northwest of Rosamond and had been a resident of the desert for the past 30 years, although she was born May 29, 1884 in Kansas. Well known by many Mojave residents, Mrs. Fousek was well loved. Singing at her funeral service was Mojave librarian, Rachel Hodges. Survivors include her husband Wm. Fusek (sic), two brothers, John Macbeth of Los Angeles and Oran Macbeth of Kansas and two grandchildren of Rosamond.
