Juan Flores Services Held
Mojave – Mass was recited at St. Francis Catholic Church, Mojave, yesterday for Juan Acosta Flores, long-time resident of Mojave. He died in a Mojave hospital Feb. 27 following a short illness.
Flores, born in Mexico, Jan. 1, 1889, resided at 22 K St., Mojave, following retirement from the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Co. He came to Mojave in 1924.
Flores is survived by his wife, Concha; two sons, Louis G. and Henry B. Flores; two daughters, Josephine Pulos and Mary Lou Flores, all of Mojave and one sister, a resident of Mexico City. The Rev. Silvano Baquedano conducted the services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by O'Donnell Funeral Home, Mojave.
